Be prepared for changing weather! It can be 60 degrees and sunny one day, and then freezing the next, with a few inches of snow. Temperatures in April range from the mid-40s to mid-70s during the day, dropping about 20 degrees in the evening. As the snow starts to melt, the park can get a bit precarious - so if you plan to hit the trails, bring your hiking boots!

Yes (or you'll need to jump into someone's car, at least.) Estes Park is about an hour and half north of Denver National Airport, with no public transportation between the two places. It's also a pretty small town, so Ubers and taxis aren't very prevalent in the off season.

Let's get fancy! Tuxedos are not necessary, but a suit/tie for the gentlemen and gowns, pant suits, or cocktail attire for the ladies.
